BLACK Wellness & Prosperity Center (BWPC)
was founded by Shantay R. Davies Balch who is a ceaseless advocate for Fresno's Black community and maternal health equity.
BWPC is unapologetically dedicated to the Black community in California’s Central Valley with the goal of improving Black Maternal and Infant Health outcomes.
To be a catalyst to improve well-being and prosperity in the Black community with sustained efforts to improve Black Maternal and Child Health outcomes, and effectively unite and elevate the Black voice, and build sustainable infrastructure to strengthen Black capacity.
