This year marks the 10-year anniversary of Black Maternal Health Week led by Black Mamas Matter Alliance. The 2026 milestone theme, “Rooted in Justice & Joy,” celebrates Black-led maternal health organizations that have cultivated change and healing across communities.

During Black Maternal Health Week 2026, BLACK Wellness & Prosperity Center (BWPC) will unveil Birthing While Black: A Hospital Guide developed in partnership with BORNE by CRWNMAG, Tre Borden/ Co, and the James Irvine Foundation Leadership Awards.
