Venise C. Curry, M.D. is a consultant for community-based organizations collectively working to increase voter engagement, build civic capacity through leadership development, and create policy and systems change in Fresno County to address health disparities.

 

As the Local Champion for Fresno Grows (Best Babies Zone) and Director of Community Engagement for Engaging Mothers and Babies Reimaging Antenatal Care for Everyone (EMBRACE) Dr. Curry utilizes a preventive psychiatry lens to focus on improving birth outcomes for African American families. She believes in the adage “strength in numbers.”
