As a doula, I will be there to SUPPORT my clients and their families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Because I know that every client is different, I will prioritize spending time on getting to know each client well and helping explore their options. Respect and trust are everything to me in doula care. I will do my best to give and connect my clients with the highest quality support and prenatal care to reduce risks such as chronic conditions, pregnancy complications, and implicit bias— factors that we all know contribute to disparities and negative birth outcomes. As a future lactation educator, I will be there for my clients to provide the resources they need to set them up for a successful breastfeeding journey.
